Left Talgar Peak
“Left Talgar Peak” - Left Talgar peak, oil painting. An original work by Anna Chernysheva, ArtMix studio, Almaty. A restrained warm red and ochre palette. There is a lot of small detail; the surface is restless. The lightest area is at the bottom left. The palette holds around 8 distinguishable shades. The contrast is moderate: the shadows read without fighting the light. The tone is mid-range, without extremes of dark or light. Warm and cool are held in balance. The weight is spread evenly: neither top nor bottom dominates. The canvas is horizontal. A work from the studio portfolio. A similar piece can be painted to order in your own subject and size.
