The 16+ group is built for three cases, and all three turn up about equally often.
You have never drawn. The most common case, and it gets in the way of nothing: the programme is built around your subject rather than around one task for the whole room. No "six months of lines first".
You drew as a child and stopped. The hand remembers more than you expect. What usually blocks a return on your own is one thing: not knowing where to start a sheet or in what order to work it.
You need a particular piece. A painting for your own wall, a gift, a view you have wanted to paint for years. You bring the subject, the studio helps carry it through to a finished canvas.
How a lesson runs
A lesson lasts 1.5 hours. The format is a small group: everyone has their own setup and their own pace, with no single task for the room. The order of work stays the same.
- Choose the subject. Bring a photo or take one from the studio's selection
- Map the composition. Where the main thing sits, where the air stays, what runs off the edge. Five minutes with a pencil save two hours of redoing
- Lay in the big shapes. Large masses and the general tone, dark to light. Details are left alone for now
- Build the colour. Mixing on the palette, not straight from the tube. This is where Anna comes over most often: colour is the most common place people get stuck
- Set the accents and sign it. The lightest highlights, the darkest shadows, a signature in the corner

What the price includes
- All materials belong to the studio: paint, brushes, canvases, palettes. There is nothing to bring and nothing to buy along the way
- The work goes home with you from the first lesson. An oil canvas is sometimes better left to dry, and you will be told so on the spot
- Feedback from the teacher as you work, rather than a general lecture to the group
The studio does not hand out aprons, so dress simply: oil paint does not wash out of clothes.
The schedule: why Sundays only
The adult group meets on Sundays, at 13:00 and 14:30. There are no other days for adults, and it is fairer to learn that before signing up than after: weekdays belong to the children's and teen groups, and Monday is the studio's day off.

Unlike the children's groups, adults have no 12-lesson package. A pass is valid for 30 days.
This is worth working out in advance. A month holds four or five Sundays, while the 8-lesson package is built for two meetings a week. That rhythm does not assemble itself in the adult group, so before buying the eight, ask on WhatsApp how to fit it into thirty days in your particular case. What there will not be
Better said upfront than discovered at the first lesson.
- A free trial. It works only in the children's groups, from age 5 and from age 7. Adults get to know the studio at an ordinary single lesson for 6 000 ₸ and decide about a pass afterwards
- A promise to "teach you to paint in a month". A finished piece happens on day one, the school part takes longer, and the timeline depends on how often you come
- An open-ended pass. Thirty days, the same for every group
- One task for the whole group. Some people want exactly that, and for them a small group with a different subject on every easel may not fit
If Sunday does not work
Two options that need no course.
A one-off workshop. From 7 000 ₸ per person as a guide, with the exact sum depending on what is made and how many people come. Tote bag painting is the format you can come to alone, without gathering a group. Lessons are taught by Anna Chernysheva: academic training at the Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, eight years in the studio.
