Windows with Flowers 1
An original work by Anna Chernysheva: a window with flowers, oil. ArtMix studio, Almaty. A restrained cool blue palette. One of the four paintings of a tetraptych, a series painted for a client in Switzerland; all four show windows with flowers. The dark mass gathers at the bottom, leaving the top light. The light comes from the right, at mid height. The palette holds around 9 distinguishable shades. The contrast is moderate: the shadows read without fighting the light. The tone is mid-range, without extremes of dark or light. The canvas is vertical. A work from the studio portfolio. A similar piece can be painted to order in your own subject and size.
