Painting with Palms
“Painting with Palms” - palm trees, oil painting. An original work by Anna Chernysheva, ArtMix studio, Almaty. The palette is blue-green, restrained in tone. The cool outweighs the warm. The piece is light, with shallow shadows. The upper part of the frame is denser than the lower. The form is laid in broadly, with few small details. The lightest area is at the bottom left. The palette holds around 7 distinguishable shades. The contrast is moderate: the shadows read without fighting the light. The canvas is vertical. The piece is in stock: you can see it at the studio and take it home the same day.
